We're excited to release a new film directed by the incredible Ruth Hogben alongside Gareth Pugh featuring an all-Crumb cast, celebrating the world premiere of Free Your Mind, an immersive new stage show reimagining The Matrix, that's just opened in Manchester. In 1999, The Matrix depicted a world in which humanity is imprisoned in a virtual reality, as sentient machines harvest their energy. Nearly 25 years later, Free Your Mind reimagines The Matrix as an allegory, depicting a world where humans are enslaved by algorithms and entrapped by surveillance capitalism.
