We were filled with pride when the one and only JAMIE WINDUST took to the Gay Times Honours 2021 red carpet and did a stellar job hosting and welcoming the star-studded guests including Jade Thirlwell, Munroe Bergdorf, RAYE, and Bimini. Jamie's star has been well and truly ascending over the past couple of years with a back catalogue of social activations and brand partnerships including Google, Spotify, MAC, Sky and lots more.
'As a young child I was always enamored by the glamour of the hosts at the TV Choice Awards, so this has been the closest I've got to that decadence. Hosting the Red Carpet was a real treat, speaking to the finest Red Carpet attendees this country has to offer, and asking them incredibly important questions such as 'What is your favourite part of a roast dinner?' was journalism at its finest' Jamie Windust
Thank you to my media family at Gay Times for allowing me to work with such a talented, hard-working and skilled team. As Contributing Editor my main aim with the role was to work up to a place where we could bring the fun back into LGBTQ+ stories. I'm excited to continue doing this over the next year, and seeing where it takes me, and focus on creating more visual storytelling. It's a real love of mine.'
