KAREN (SHE/HER) IS AN EMERGING BEAUTY CONTENT CREATOR, ENTREPRENEUR AND ADVOCATE FOR POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING.
As a child, Karen understood the importance of a good skincare routine whilst learning from her mother, but as she got older, a longer journey began with her realizing there was a lack of education and black voices within the beauty industry, which is something she hopes to change with her content demistifying beauty, make up and self care. Alongside a 9-5 within beauty marketing, she founded Oré mi, an independent well-being brand she launched in 2019. Each candle is made in London, inspired by her Nigerian heritage, with a desire to break the taboo that surrounds the topic of mental health in the Black community
As an emerging creator within the luxury beauty space, she has worked with brands such as Nudestix, Westman Atelier, MAC, Glossier and more. Karen is available for brand partnerships, modelling and content creation through Crumb Agency.
