SILAI IS AN ANTI-DISCIPLINARY ARTIST AND MUSICIAN WORKING BETWEEN SOUND AND MUSIC PRODUCTION, WRITTEN TEXT, MOVING IMAGE, ARCHIVE, THEORY, PERFORMANCE AND HEALING, AND IS ONE/THIRD OF THE EXPERIMENTAL ARTS COLLECTIVE CAIRO GIRL'S SCHOOL.
She has been working at the intersections of 'improvisistance' over the last few years with a consistent string of live experimental performances - a concept coined by Dirar Kalash, prioritising the temporal affect of the felt over the manufactured and the staged.
