ACTRESS, FILMMAKER AND ADVOCATE FOR NEURODIVERSITY IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES.
Rising star Jemma Moore plays Jess Li in the recent hit ITV thriller, 'RED EYE’. They also star in the award winning cult horror ‘HOST’. 'HOST' won FANGORIA's Golden Chainsaw Award for 'Best Streaming Premiere' and was nominated for multiple BIFA awards. It is 'Certified Fresh' on rotten tomatoes, one of Variety's top ten 'Best Found Footage Horror Movies of All Time' 2022 and one of EMPIRE magazine's 'Best Movies of 2020' with Jemma's character making it into EMPIRE magazine's 'The 100 Best Horror Movie Characters' list.
Born in Hong Kong and having moved to the UK at a young age, Jemma spent their childhood in the countryside, developing a deep love for nature and animals. They even competed in horse riding competitions, which came in handy when they landed a role as 'Queens Guard' and 'Action Rider' in Warner Brothers' blockbuster hit 'Wonder Woman' (2017). In 2022 Jemma had to undergo an emergency spine surgery for impending Cauda Equina syndrome. This was an incredibly overwhelming year for them and during the process of speaking to doctors one doctor picked up that Jemma may be neurodivergent. A year later, they received a professional diagnosis for Autism and ADHD, which they now speak about on their Instagram in hopes of helping others on their own journeys.
